Creating Mindfulness

Rapper Megan Thee Stallion got into a Twitter spat with a woman who tweeted her view on Megan’s Nike collaboration promoting the practice of mindfulness and wellness. The woman felt Megan was the wrong person to speak on “Mindfulness and Wellness” due to Megan’s music being to her “low vibrational.” This made me wonder, is there only one way to practice these things?

Mindfulness is when we take the time for ourselves to take a breathe, think, being present. Wellness is the state of being in good health, as a goal. In our present pandemic time these two things are truly important. We have all in one way or another have been effected by COVID 19. We all need time to just take a breath. I’m not a “Mindfulness Expert” where I can tell you what the right way to go about it, but I do believe it’s something we all need to practice, and sometimes we neglect that. Urban Sweet Spot is becoming a place for relaxing music which compliment wellness and mindfulness but the genres aren’t typically used for that. All the tracks are instrumental but chill enough for you to meditate, relax with a glass of wine or a warm cup of tea. Ambient music for when you’ve just got home and want to unwind.
