Grace ☀️

When one looks up the definition of Grace, there’s so many. For example, one is “simple elegance or movement” another is “an attractively polite manner of behaving” or “a divenly giving or a blessing.” There are more definitions, but one thing’s for sure in regards to defining grace, it it something that is positive, healing and forgiving.

With this post, the message is to learn how to give Grace to ourselves. Sometimes we tend to be so hard on ourselves. Reasons being, we’re not where we want to be (either financially, careerwise, lifestyle, physically) and we don’t allow or give ourselves grace. In my opinion, grace to ourselves is a form of Self-Care.

The New Year has just started, and this a time when a lot of people want to make changes or enhance their lives one way or another. With that being said, maybe you didn’t get to the gym this week, didn’t get get up at 5 am. in the morning or save an extra 300 dollars like you promised yourself you would. It’s okay.

The past three years have been hard on us all, one way or another. It doesn’t benefit us in anyway to be hard on ourselves. If one gets off track, we can always get back on. We have to learn to forgive ourselves and be kind to ourselves.

Miss out on accomplishing goals this week, month? Okay, give yourself some grace by acknowledging this fact and get (or try to) back on track. You might stumble and slack off a few more times, but it doesn’t hurt anyone to be consistent and keep on trying.
