Trap music is a subgenre of Hip Hop that originated in the Southern region of the United States. Trap is slang for the house where “illegal transactions” occured. Artists such as T.I, Gucci Mane and Future all have songs from that subgenre. Over the years, Trap has blended with Soul and RnB to form Trapsoul.
